The Trip is a 1973 movie that follows a young television director (Peter Fonda) as his life begins to spiral out of control. The young man is being divorced by his wife (Susan Strasburg) and decides to turn to the street drug LSD to get him through his pain. He gets one of his friends to guide him through his drug experience, and together they find Max (Dennis Hopper), the drug dealer, and buy the LSD. They return to their apartment and the young director tries the drug for the first time. This movie shows his experiences with the drug, including his hallucinations and visions of sex, death, dancing girls, witches, torture chambers and more. This movie is a drug filled extravaganza that exposes the trama that people go through when they get a divorce and go through a life changing event. This movie was written by famous actor Jack Nicholson and directed by Roger Corman.
