Watcher in the Woods is a mild horror film from Disney suitable for any age. Full of suspense and the paranormal, it's a story of an American family who takes up residence in a creepy English manor. The manor's owner, the eccentric and mysterious Mrs. Aylwood (Bette Davis) still stays in the caretaker's cottage. The family quickly finds itself drawn into a decades old mystery surrounding the unsolved disappearance of Mrs. Aylwood's daughter, Karen (Katharine Levy). Soon the family encounters eerie visions, strange dreams, unexplained, near-death accidents, and an ever-present feeling of being watched from the woods beyond their rented home. Sisters Jan (Lynn-Holly Johnson) and Ellie (Kyle Richards) seek to solve the mystery while protecting their sanity and their family. Can you solve the mystery whose answer only the Watcher knows? Both haunting and spellbinding, Watcher in the Woods is a memorable thriller that stays with you long after the movie is over.
