Unfortunately Wendell is sent to jail for his involvement in a series of illegal jobs. Even in prison, however, Wendell seems to make the best of things. He has lots of friends and loves to play football with the guys. Eventually Wendell is paroled, but in the mean time, Doreen has done her best to forget about him. Wendell gets a job at a retirement home where he befriends some of the residents. The head nurse at the home is running a scam, and eventually the residents find out about it.
