The World of Henry Orient is a comedy based on a book by Nora Johnson, starring Peter Sellers, Paula Prentiss, Tippy Walker, Merrie Spaeth, Phyllis Thaxter, Bibi Osterwald, and Angela Lansbury. Henry Orient (Peter Sellers), a concert pianist, sets his eyes on a married woman and wants her for his own: Stella Dunnworthy (Paula Prentiss). Meanwhile, two private-school teen girls - Valerie Boyd (Tippy Walker) and Marian Gilbert (Merrie Spaeth) - have their eyes on Henry Orient. They stalk Henry and write fantasies involving him in Valerie's diary. The paranoid Orient sees the girls popping up everywhere he goes, and believes the girls were sent by the husband of Stella, the woman he is currently chasing. When Valerie's mother, Isabel Boyd (Angela Lansbury) finds her daughter's diary, she suspects that Henry Orient has acted out of line with her teenager daughter. Isabel calls Henry, and things get even stranger for Henry from there!
