Theory of the Leisure Class is the 2001 crime drama mystery from co-writer/director Gabriel Bologna (The Elevator, The Trench, Love is All There Is). Town journalist Callie (Tuesday Knight, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, The Fan, Brother) is a woman with problems who less than faithful to her husband and plans to run out on him. She even finds herself entertaining thoughts of homicide of late. Things take a turn for the worse, when she is suddenly found knocked out amidst her slain progeny. Soon, blames inflame and people's very existences get called up and put into jeopardy. Callie is able to convince bartender Julie Matthews (Athena Strensland, Bobby, The Elevator, 20 Dollar) to dish out facts about her exciting life and Callie receives a boatload of juicy tidbits for her pleasure. Tidbits on lies, trysts and grisly killing. Also starring character actor favorite Christopher McDonald (Happy Gilmore).
