Stephen King's Thinner is the terrifying 1996 adaptation of the popular King novel, directed by celebrated horror filmmaker Tom Holland (Fright Night, Child's Play, The Langoliers). Billy Halleck (Robert Burk, Robocop 3, Tombstone) is an overweight, hot shot attorney who has the world on a string, sitting on a rainbow, despite being a little heavy. When a traveling gypsy clan comes to town, Halleck finds himself under the spell of the lead gypsy's luscious daughter Gina (Kari Wuhrer, Anaconda, Eight Legged Freaks, Sliders). Driving home from dinner one night, Billy finds himself getting orally pleasured by his wife ' which causes him to accidentally hit a passerby ' the wife of gypsy leader Tadzu Lempke (Michael Constantine). Billy uses his office pull to get himself off the hook ' much to the displeasure of the gypsy clan. Tadzu gets even his own way however ' by putting a curse on Billy which causes him to get thinner and thinner, until he will ultimately waste away into nothing!moreless
