This Girl's Life is a 2003 drama directed by Ash Baron-Cohen. With themes like sexuality and fidelity at its heart, the film focuses on Moon (Juliette Marquis), whose work in pornography is internationally recognized. Although Moon's job has her revealing all, she also reveals that her life is not one of a typical porn star. Moon is a level-headed and wise young woman whose love for sex makes pornography a natural career choice. In her free time Moon happily cares for her loving father, "Pops" (James Woods), who suffers from Parkinson's disease. After a blind date, Moon strikes up a tentative romance with Kip (Kip Pardue). Meanwhile, another of Moon's friends gets engaged but wants Moon to test her fianc''e's fidelity. After Moon agrees to help her friend, she also decides to help other women find out how far their husbands are willing to go to cheat on their wives. Her father and her boyfriend show her that real love is possible. Both her jobs make Moon question her own sexual morals and mens' motivations behind sex. With the balance between her life and work becoming increasingly fragile, Moon has to realize that sex is not always about pleasure and that pleasure does not always involve sex.moreless

This is both melodramatic and overly tidy in its plotting, but its odd personal relationships are utterly believable.
