Thomas In Love is a film about an isolated man named Thomas Thomas (Benoit Verhaert), controlled by his anxiety. He is afraid of any kind of contact with the people that surround him, which ultimately leaves him alone in his apartment where he can get everything done with his futuristic computers. After not stepping out of his apartment for eight years, Thomas believes he has all that he needs in life. He can talk to anyone he desires and even has a computerized girlfriend. Much to his own surprise, Thomas does indeed crave human contact and his psychoanalyst sets him up to meet a real woman (Aylin Yay). Will this blind, random encounter lead Thomas to no longer fear any type of human contact, or allow him to break out of his eight-year-old mold and embrace it? Will his encounters with this woman he knows nothing about drive him to fall in love with her?

Starts gently, with amusing drollness, then gets more serious, even provocative, without sacrificing its light touch. This is very much a film with something on its mind.

A funny and original film set in a future when communications are even more refined than they are now.
