Those Redheads From Seattle is set during the 1890s in Dawson, a small gold mining town in the Yukon Territory. Vance Edmonds (Frank Wilcox) moved to Dawson to start a newspaper, leaving his wife and redheaded daughters behind in Seattle. His newspaper gets its first scoop in the form of an unflattering expose on the Klondike Club, a night club about to be opened by Johnny Kisco (Gene Barry). Things are going well for Vance and he writes a letter to his wife instructing her to move their daughters to Dawson. Just after writing the letter, Vance's warehouse is set on fire by Kisco's partner, Mike Yurkil (John Kellogg), to prevent the story from being published. Vance still manages to publish the paper despite the fire. Yurkil kills Vance in an act of vengeance, but not before Vance mails the letter home. The women head north, unbeknownst of Vance's murder, and prove that redheads are a feisty bunch as they become involved with Johnny's club and learn of their father's demise.moreless
