Three O'Clock High is a 1987 teen comedy directed by Phil Joanou. When 17-year-old Jerry Mitchell (Casey Siemaszko) arrives at his high school, he discovers that there is a new student named Buddy Revell (Richard Tyson), a juvenile delinquent who has the reputation of being criminally insane. Much to his dismay, Jerry, who is a writer for the school newspaper, also learns that his teacher has chosen him to write an article about Buddy. Jerry is terrified to approach the new student and begins to feel physically ill. When he goes into the restroom to regain his composure, he unexpectedly sees Buddy. Gathering his courage, bumbling Jerry tries to get Buddy's consent to write the article. After Jerry touches Buddy in a friendly gesture, Buddy becomes enraged and violent. He then demands that Jerry meets him after school ends for the day so that they can fight. With help from his best friend Vincent (Jonathan Wise) and his younger sister Brie (Stacey Glick), Jerry forms a series of comedic schemes to avoid the fight with Buddy.moreless
