Tiger Shark: Predator Revealed is an hour long documentary on the infamous tiger shark, a shark known for its noticeable strips and voracious appetite. It is one of the most ferocious sharks of the sea. This documentary goes the extra mile by having shark eye views of swimming through the use of a crittercam, a camera mounted onto an actual free swimming tiger shark. The tiger shark's scientific name is Galeocerdo Cuvier. It is the only member of the Galeocerdo genus. Tiger sharks can grow to over 16 feet and is found in many temperate and tropical oceans. It is mostly found around the central Pacific islands. It hunts alone, and mostly at night. It eats crustaceans, seals, fish, smaller sharks, birds, squid, turtles, dolphins and sea snakes. It is considered one of the most dangerous sharks to humans, second only to the great white shark. They are known a near to being threatened species due to excessive fishing and hunting of their fins by humans.moreless
