Tiger Woods Story is the biography film which tells the story of one of the greatest athletes in history. Eldrick Tont "Tiger" Woods is a professional golfer who quickly rose to become one of the most successful, and highest paid athletes in the world. Born in Cypress, California, Tiger grew up with an athletic father, who introduced him to the game of golf before he was two years old. By age three, he shot a 48 over nine holes, and by age eight he broke 80. He went on to win the Junior World Championships six times, and finally beat his dad when he was 11 years old. After going to Stanford on a golf scholarship, he left after only two years to turn pro in 1996. Right off the bat, he signed deals with Nike and Titleist for a combined $60 million, an unheard of number for a new golfer. He was named Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year in 1996, as well as the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year. His rise to the top wasn't as easy one, as he struggled with self-doubt, racism, cultural identity and more. This made-for-TV biopic drama tells the story of Tiger (Khalil Kain), and is directed by LeVar Burton.moreless
