Tiki is a 2006 horror film written and directed by Ron Ford that tells the story of Amy (Joelene Smith), a young aspiring actress from Hawaiian Islands who travels to the mainland to attend drama classes. Unfortunately, her student life becomes miserable due to horrible pranks she has to endure from her colleagues and their boyfriends. As a result of a cruel joke, Amy is hospitalized with serious brain damage which can be lethal. Anxious to find out what happened to her niece, aunt Maelea (Maria Caprille) arrives from Hawaii. She brings with her a mystical doll called Tiki. Amy's suffering spirit penetrates the doll and awakes unexpected magical powers which enable Tiki to track down the cruel colleagues and seek revenge for their pranks. As blood starts to spill, the bad students realize that the awkward doll is no joke. Tiki attacks them with merciless persistence provoking fear and terror among people who hurt Amy.
