Tim Janis' Coastal America combines the musician's beautiful, soothing and thoughtful songs and images of breath-taking and majestic coastal scenes from different regions around the United States. Academy Award winning actor George Clooney lends some serious star power to the project as the silver-tongued narrator of this picturesque foray along the coasts of America. There are wide-ranging locations from the rocky shores of New England to the sandy dunes of the North Carolina coast, even all the way to the scenic, palm tree studded beaches of Hawaii. Initially broadcast on PBS, a true sense of America's beauty is realized with vivid descriptions and educational insights into the coastal regions that are captured on film. Soothing and esoteric, with imagery, scores and narration, a composite of the variance of the coastal regions is laid out beautifully.
