Tinseltown is a 1997 film written and directed by Tony Spiridakis. The film is a dark and often comedic entrance into the seedy underbelly of the entertainment capital of the world - Hollywood, CA. The film follows the story of two young men who would do just about anything to make it big in the movie business. Max (Arye Gross) and Tiger (Tom Wood) are two aspiring filmmakers who are floundering in the hopelessness of the industry. It's Christmas Eve and they haven't been able to get their movie made. With no place to stay they befriend a man named Cliff (Ron Perlman) who says they can stay with him until the new year. While at his house, the two find out that Cliff is actually a serial killer. Instead of doing the right thing by turning Cliff over to the authorities, the two decide to follow Cliff and right a script about his life of murder. Convinced their script will be a sure success, they dive deep into the world of a madman. Now they have to find a way to save their script as well as maybe their own lives.
