Who thought of this? I mean, this is a very good movie! It shows you that people judge somebody just because of their appearence; and that is wrong, even though we all probably do it every day. And through the whole movie, you're thinking, "Why do we treat somebody differently just because of the way they look?" It had a great message to get across. It showed that people count on what's on the inside, not on the outside. And it also sent the message to never give up. Ali's mom in the movie suffered from her weight and one day she finally gave up. She later got diabeties, ended up in the hospital, and got really sick. Ali was ashamed of her, evern though she never looked in her eyes. She never thought about she might feel about what had happened. And Ali was about to give up because she couldn't take the torment, but she decided not to, and because of her not giving up, she actually got the message across. This movie sent three messages across. One, don't judge people by their appearence, two, don't give up, and three, all people have feelings, even fat people.moreless
