To Find A Man is a comedic drama that was released in 1972. Rosalind (Pamela Martin) and Andy (Darren O'Connor) have been good friends since childhood. When Rosalind comes home from boarding school, she divulges a terrible secret to Andy, that her mother's boyfriend has gotten her pregnant. Unaware that Andy has silently been in love with her, Rosalind asks Andy for his help. With no one else to turn to, Andy and Rosalind search for a doctor willing to perform a secret abortion. During the process, the two old friends face a series of challenges together. They are able to learn more about each other and bond together while keeping the pregnancy secret, dealing with Andy's upper-class prejudices, bureaucracies, and a comically overcrowded hospital. The nature of their friendship is changed forever even before Andy admits to his long-held crush. To Find A Man explores the depths of long-term friendships and moral boundary lines.
