To Paris with Love showcases the comedic side of matchmaking along with all the misunderstandings associated with falling in love. Colonel Sir Edgar Fraser (Alec Guinness) is a middle-aged, well-to-do widower. He spends his time at a castle in Scotland and owns horses in France. His son, Jon Fraser (Vernon Gray), is a young adult. Edgar is convinced that Jon still needs a better education about the opposite sex. Edgar whisks his son off to Paris to teach him about life and love. However, Jon is well aware of women and his father's plans. Once in Paris, Jon decides that his lonely father needs someone to love. Edgar seeks young ladies for his son to court. At the same time, Jon is searching for a mature woman for his father. Turns out both father and son are still learning about romance and give in to the unexpected in this film.
