To the Devil a Daughter is a 1976 horror film directed by Peter Sykes. The film follows a priest named Father Michael Rayner (played by the legendary Christopher Lee) who has been excommunicated. He sets up a satanic cult that from the outside seems to just be a Catholic Church. Rayner convinces a man to sign his daughter Catherine's soul over to him on her eighteenth birthday so as to become the representative of Satan on earth. Catherine is played by Natassja Kinski. However as Catherine's eighteenth birthday draws near her father seeks out the help of John Verney (played by Richard Widmark), an American occult novelist who he hopes could save his daughter from her awful fate. Now Verney must battle against an international cabal of evil so as to hopefully save the soul of this would be child bride to the devil. Can he stop the evil in time?
