Tom and Huck is a 1995 family film based on Mark Twain's famous novels about Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. Tom Sawyer (Jonathan Taylor Thomas) is a mischeivous boy who has a thirst for adventure. He finds the perfect friend in the form of Huck Finn (Brad Renfro), a wild and rebellious boy who is always open to Tom's crazy plots. One night, though, their usually innocent schemes take a darker turn. By sneaking around, Tom and Huck accidentally wind up being the only witnesses to the murder of Doctor Robinson (William Newman). When an innocent man, Muff (Michael McShane), winds up as the main suspect, the boys know they have to speak up or live with the guilt. However, since they promised each other they would not confess and since they are afraid of the killer, Huck and Finn come up with another plot: find a piece of evidence that will prove the real killer's identity. The only problem is, he may find them first.moreless
