Tom and Jerry: Blast Off to Mars is a 2005 direct-to-video children's animated feature produced by Warner Bros. Animation. It follows the beloved pop culture cartoon icons "Tom" the cat and "Jerry" the mouse, for a outer space adventure. Those two are at it again! Always playing...well, cat and mouse. However this time they're taking it out of the household for a much grander stage. After Tom chases Jerry to a rocket launch site, they accidentally create a fiasco that results in both of them stowed away on a rocket to Mars! It's Tom and Jerry in space! And it's not long before the two end up making a mess on that planet as well. Seems Jerry looks a lot like "The Great Gloop" a foreseen master and instantly hailed by the Martian race. What will they do when they realize who he really is? This could lead to a full scale invasion of the Earth. Its up to Tom, Jerry and their new alien friend Peep ,to finally work together to save the world! It's a modern adaptation to a vintage favorite.moreless
