Tom and Jerry: Shiver Me Whiskers, released in 2006, features the voices of Dan Castellaneta (the voice of Homer Simpson) as Tom, the "inconceivable" Wallace Shawn (from Princess Bride), Mark Hamill and, in his final performance, the late Charles Nelson Reilly. Stuck on a pirate ship with the dread pirate Captain Red (Kevin Michael Richardson), Tom's (Dan Castellaneta) luck just might be about to change: He finds a mysterious bottle washed aboard with a treasure map and, to his surprise, a mouse (Dee Bradley Baker). Tom and Jerry, reluctantly team up and find themselves in a madcap race for buried booty. Can they keep the secret map hidden and claim the treasure before the pirates? Even with new voice talent, Tom and Jerry: Shiver Me Whiskers pays homage to its legacy by using classic sound effects from the Tom and Jerry archive at MGM, as well as an original score composed by Mark Watters in the jazzy, mid-century style of the original series composer, Scotty Bradley.moreless
