Isidor Navarro (Jose Zuniga) is the owner of the restaurant and while most people are at church on Sunday he is making fresh hand-made tortillas for them to eat after church. One Sunday, while making tortillas, Isidor is stunned to find a miraculous image burned on a tortilla. Soon word spreads about Isidor's miracle and people from all over the country flock to the tiny town to see the tortilla. Metacritic Score

  • 50

    Film Threat

It's hard to remain interested in everyone when they're continually shuffled around. Half-baked storylines abound.

  • 30

    Los Angeles Times

The film and its makers simply try too hard. Director and co-writer Judy Hecht Dumontet can't stop "helping" with overactive editing and scoring, such as tinkling bells every time ...

  • 20

    Variety Justin Chang

As flat as a tortilla and considerably less nourishing.
