Totally Baked: Unrated is a 2007 comedy which presents the controversial subject of marijuana legalization in the United States and the resistance of the authorities to debate the issue at the highest level. While some of the viewers might think of it as just another drug addiction movie, it provides a deeper insight into the subject. In a comedic yet informative style, the truth behind marijuana's mental effects and its legal status are presented in a comical atmosphere were everyone seems to be enthusiastic about a new law that will recognize cannabis to be just another consumer's choice. A student's debate team is captured by a bunch of marijuana enthusiasts who argue that marijuana deserves freedom because it has been used in medicine for many years. The purpose is to raise awareness among the marijuana opposition members and present them with a new perspective. Cannabis promoters Tim Bagley and William Atherton try to prove their point by using amusing situations as well as well-researched facts.moreless
