Track 29 is a 1988 mystery starring Theresa Russell, Gary Oldman, and Christoper Lloyd in a story about a couple trapped in a failing marriage that leads them through an escalating series of strange and dangerous events. Russell and Lloyd play Linda and Henry Henry, a small-town married couple who have grown apart from one another. Henry works as a doctor, an occupation that takes up most of his time. What little free time he has goes towards either building model train sets at home or pursuing a bizarre affair with one of his nurses. Linda feels suppressed by her marriage; her and her husband never had a child, and they don't have sex anymore. Her life gets turned upside-down when her long lost son, Martin, tracks her down. As a sixteen-year-old, Linda was raped, producing a child she sent off for adoption. Years later, Martin has returned to reunite with his long-lost mother, and while Linda has yearned for a child, she soon notices several unsettling things about Martin. Track 29 is a tense, slow-burning thriller leading up to a conclusion you'll never see coming.moreless
