Tracks is a 1976 drama movie that follows a Vietnam veteran around the United States as he follows a fallen soldier's body as it is moved for burial. Directed by Henry Jaglom, the film centers around the journey of 1st Sargent Jack Falen (Dennis Hopper) as he returns to the U.S. to escort the body of his friend and fellow soldier to his hometown for burial. Going cross country via train to deliver the casket, Sgt. Falen meets a variety of people, from a mysterious man named Mark (Dean Stockwell), to beautiful college student Stephanie (Taryn Power). Falen begins to fall in love with Stephanie as their journey progresses, and a relationship between them begins to blossom. Just as quickly as their romance starts, it begins to deteriorate as Falen cannot prevent the war flashbacks he keeps experiencing.
