Trailer Park Boys: The Movie is a 2006 Canadian film based on the television series of the same name starring Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay and Mike Smith. The main protagonists Ricky and Julian are required to leave jail days before an important hockey match so in order to get back in, the boys devise a plan to conduct "The Big Dirty," the ultimate heist. Ricky also tries to make amends with his former girlfriend who is now working at a gentlemen's club and has gotten plastic surgery. Trailer Park Boys: The Movie was the highest grossing film in Canada for the first week of its release. The film grossed over 3.8 million dollars making it a small hit. It has since become a cult classic and fathered a sequel entitled Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day.
