Traitor is a thriller film that centers around one man's involvement in a deadly terror plot. Samir Horn (Don Cheadle) is an American Muslim and former member of the U.S. Army Terror Forces. He now works as an operating arms dealer. One day while making a deal with a man named Omar (Said Taghamoui) in Yemen, he is arrested and put into jail. He becomes close friends with Omar and the two manage to escape together. Samir joins the Islamic Brotherhood and helps to bomb the United States consulate in France. Then the group devises a plan that would set off 50 bombs on buses in the United States on Thanksgiving. However, it is soon revealed that Samir is not really the person he appears to be and he is forced to live with some bad decisions he has made. These decisions lead him to Canada where more revelations are revealed. Traitor was directed by Jeffrey Nachmonoff.
