Transylmania is a 2009 horror comedy directed by David and Scott Hillenbrand, which tells the story of a group of American students who enroll in an exchange student program at a prestigious yet bizzare Romanian university. Rusty (Oren Skoog), a carefree and fun-loving student, meets online charming Romanian girl Draguta (Irena A. Hoffman), and decides to embark on a trip to Romania, dreaming of a passionate affair. A semester-long student exchange program at Razvan University seems to be the perfect occasion, so Rusty convinces a group of his friends to join him. The bunch of enthusiastic and irresponsible students are hoping to find excitement and fun rather that engage in course study, so everybody is optimistic and in high spirits. Travelling on the train on their way to the university, the restless friends find out that the region is home to a clan of vampires. One of them is Radu (Oren Skoog), who is desperate to revive his precious dead lover, whose soul is hidden in a music box that he has to be find. The university is also a strange and scary place, with a professor who engages in mystical rituals with his sexy vampire assistants.moreless
