Triggermen is a crime comedy that follows the misadventures of a couple of would-be assassins. Pete Maynard (Neil Morrissey) and Andy Jarrett (Adrian Dunbar) have no marketable skills and are basically broke. Their primary goal is to earn enough money to return to their beloved United Kingdom. They begin looking around Chicago in hopes of being able to scam people out of their money. When Pete steals a briefcase from a hotel lobby, the pair finds a hefty sum of cash and information on one Ben Cutler (Pete Postlethwaite). The pair quickly determines that they have stumbled across the payment for a hit on a mob boss. Hoping to be able to keep the money without losing their lives, they decide that they should complete the work for which they have already been so graciously paid for. When Terry Mallow (Donnie Wahlberg) and Tommy O'Brien (Michael Rapaport), the actual hit men, discover that someone has taken their contract, a deadly game of trickery ensues. Will the con men make it home or will the hit men have more work than they bargained for? Watch this 2002 dark comedy directed by John Bradshaw to find out.
