True True Lie is a 2006 psychological thriller directed by Eric Styles. In the film, Dana (Lydia Leonard) is a disturbed young woman who has just spent twelve years in an insane asylum. Her extended stay in the asylum was sparked by a childhood breakdown. Years before this, Dana began having delusions that she and her childhood best friends, Nathalie (Jaime King) and Paige (Annabelle Wallis), had brutally murdered a young boy. Her friends and family are grateful when she is released, and the reunion is a joyful occasion. Dana desperately tries to start a life outside the asylum, but has difficulty letting go of her past. When she spends time with Nathalie and Paige alone, Dana starts to question her sanity again. Is it possible that Dana did not imagine the events that led to her committal, or is she simply not as well as the doctors said she was?
