Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie is the 1997 kids superhero action film about the next chapter in the mighty morphin saga, and is available from 20th Century Fox. When the evil space pirate Divatox threatens to destroy earth by awakening the monster Maligore from his volcanic slumber. Only by kidnapping the wizard Lerigot can Divatox unlock Maligore's prison. The pack of good hearted teenagers with attitude/ color coordinated superheroes must travel to a distant planet to stop the evil Divatox and save a pair of their old friends. All seems lost until the Rangers receive new powers, new suits, and new Turbo Zords from their leader, inter-dimentional being Zordon of Eltar. When blue ranger Rocky is injured, a young fan named Justin lives every kids dream and becomes a Power Ranger, sworn to stop the forces of evil that threaten earth. The success of the film led to the new chapter of the Fox Kids popular television series titled "Power Rangers Turbo."
