Two for the Road is a 1967 romantic comedy that details one couple's look at their rocky relationship and their decision to end or save their 10-year marriage. In the film, Mark Wallace (Albert Finney) and his wife Joanna (Audrey Hepburn) are on a road trip from their home in Southern France to Saint-Tropez. Mark is a very successful architect and he is taking his wife along to celebrate the completion of another project for his client Maurice Dalbret (Claude Dauphin). Maurice is a very difficult client for Mark but he has also made Mark a lot of money. On the trip, Mark and Joanna are both very aware that their marriage is about to break-up and this leads them to a trip down memory lane. They remember how they met, different trips they have made, the birth of their daughter and many more events. As the trip proceeds, they begin to realize that together they must decide if they want to end things right now or do what is necessary to fix their broken marriage.moreless
