Thrown in the prisons "hole" for trying to escape, Waylon and Buddy struggle to find their laid back sense of humor. Having been thrown in jail for getting into a bar fight with an off duty cop, the two are getting used to being at the wrong place at the wrong time. If they think life is rough, it's worse for Sgt. Dodds, a decorated Gulf War veteran who has been unwittingly reassigned to undertake experimental surgery to create the ultimate soldier. The treatment, commissioned by Major Blevins and invented by Dr. Stroheim and his assistant Dr. Lena, is meant to enlarge the soldiers' adrenaline glad giving him super strength. The test is a mixed success. Dodds is capable of a rage and strength that is deadly violent, however an unexpected side effect appears - after the adrenaline is spent, the gland collapses creating a brief period in which the super soldier face plants until the gland can replenish itself. Stroheim needs more volunteers, but this time he wants to study the effects on something other than soldiers - regular, everyday misfits.moreless
