Uncorked, also known as At Sachem Farm, is a charming 1998 tale about finding the right perspective and place in life. Following a series of bad business schemes, Ross (Rufus Sewell, "A Knight's Tale") finds himself bankrupt and back in the midst of his ridiculously eccentric family in rural California. His brother Paul (Michael E. Rogers) spends most of his time hiding in the woods, and his completely impossible Uncle Cullen (Nigel Hawthorne) stands in the way of his latest million dollar idea. Ross wants to sell the family's rare wine collection to fund the purchase of a local magnesium mine. Meanwhile, his frustrated girlfriend Kendal (Minnie Driver, "Good Will Hunting"), tired of having her advice ignored, rediscovers an old boyfriend, Tom (Gregory Sporleder) with an obsessive pastime. Director John Huddles brings together a top-notch cast to create an amusing, but philosophical story about learning to change your life by changing your perspective.
