Under the Cherry Moon directed by and starring stars pop sensation Prince features himself playing a suave gigolo and musician named Christopher Tracy. Christopher and best friend Tricky (Jerome Benton), who are originally from Miami, are in the French Riviera enjoying a lucrative, but risky lifestyle. Christopher and Tricky scam money of rich women. The pair read about a young women, Mary (Kristin Scott Thomas), who is set to inherit fifty million dollars from her father. With sights sets on this new profitable conquest, Tricky convinces Christopher to romance her for her money. The scheme takes an unexpected turn when Christopher falls in love with her. This unplanned relationship threatens to derail the plan. Will this love come between the best friends? Or will Christopher's shady past ruin his chances with Mary? Christopher weeds through this tricky situation in this musical drama chalked full of Prince songs and musical montages.
