Under the Gaydar (2009, Sneaky Cow Entertainment) is a direct to video comedy about a couple and their supposedly gay son. Larry Barnabee (Maurice Weiss) and wife Lauren (Susie Duff) hire Ashley Banks (Michelle LaFrance) to turn their son Darren (Arthur Gadsby) from gay to straight. Ashley has made a profitable business out of "converting" boys, charging $20,000 a pop for her services. Her conversion tactics have the unfortunate side effect of making her former clients obsessed with her. Unbeknownst to his parents and to Ashley, who thinks she is making easy money this time, Darren is only pretending to be gay in order to attract girls. Matters are made more complicated by the fact that Darren's fake boyfriend Ryan (Tony Christopher) may not be pretending to be gay after all. The film is directed and written by Seth Gimlan and Gurtej Singh and features a cameo from legendary porn actor Ron Jeremy.
