George Mendeluk
Under the Mistletoe is a 2006 made-for-TV movie directed by George Mendeluk and starring Jaime Ray Newman, Michael Shanks, and Conan Graham. The film tells the story of Susan and Tom Chandler and their eight-year-old son Jonathan. As the family is driving home with their freshly picked Christmas tree, they become involved in a horrific car accident. Susan and Jonathan escape with a few minor bumps and bruises, but Tom is killed. A year later, as they continue to the cope with their loss, Susan's friend Michelle encourages her to start dating again. Jonathan, meanwhile, talks to a school counselor about how he sees and has conversations with his father. Michelle and Jonathan then secretly enter Susan in a dating contest, and when she is picked as the most eligible bachelorette, she has her choice of men with whom to go on a date. Jonathan must then help her mom make a difficult decision, but fortunately he is aided by the advice of his deceased father.moreless
