1993
Rating:
PG-13

Undercover Blues is the 1993 crime comedy from prolific director Herbert Ross (The Goodbye Girl, Footlose, Steel Magnolias, The Secret of My Success, Boys on the Side). A retired husband and wife spy team, Jane and Jefferson Blue (Kathleen Turner ' Body Heat, Romancing the Stone ' and Dennis Quaid ' Innerspace, Far From Heaven) take a vacation in New Orleans with their baby girl. But what should be a relaxing time turns out to be anything but. Jane and Jeff soon find themselves the target of muggers, and being harassed by the local police. What's worse is their boss enters the picture and pleads with them to do one more job for the FBI. Jane and Jeff just want to relax and have time to themselves. Stanley Tuuci (Monkey Shines, Road to Perdition) is hysterical as a hapless, incompetent mugger who tussles with both Jane and Jeff and always ends up on the losing end.
