Unhitched is a romantic comedy from 2005 directed by Stefan Schwartz. Olly Pickering (Stuart Townsend) is an author whose publisher has praised the beginning chapters of his latest novel. Unfortunately, Olly starts to suffers from a severe case of writer's block. It's so bad that it starts to affect his life and self-confidence until Olly becomes a loner and takes a job as an assistant for an angry feminist, Tania (Johdi May). Olly is shocked when one of his friends from college, James (Steve John Shepherd), calls him up and asks him to be the best man at his wedding. A reluctant Olly accepts the invitation against the advice of his roommate, Murray (Seth Green). Murray intends to stop the wedding due to his knowledge of the groom's checkered past. Things take a turn for Olly and James when it becomes apparent that Olly has fallen for Sarah (Amy Smart), the bride-to-be. The best man speech Olly has to write may turn out to be quite the shocker.
