United Airlines Flight 93 was one of four passenger airplanes hijacked on 9/11 by al-Qaeda terrorists. United 93 was the only hijacked plane that did not successfully reach its destination; one plane crashed into the United States Pentagon, and the other two planes were responsible for destroying the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. This film tells the story of the passengers aboard United 93, whose self-sacrifice and heroism prevented the plane from reaching its ultimate destination: the United States Capitol.
