Unknown Soldier is a 2004 independent drama and is directed by first-time director, Ferenc Toth. In this film, Ellison "L" Jones (Carl Louis) is a recent high school graduate who has a very easy life, mostly because of his hard-working father, Sam Jones (Carl Garrison). Ellison's great life is tragically interrupted when his father suddenly dies and leaves him with nothing. At first, Ellison is stunned and does not know what to do next. He bounces around staying with friends until he lands in a homeless shelter in Harlem. Seeing no other way to survive, Ellison attempts to enlist with the Army, but because of allergy-induced asthma he is rejected by the government. This rejection angers Ellison and even though he was raised by his father to resist the seemingly easy life of the hustlers he grew up with, he seeks out Zee (Postell Pringle), a hustler he knows. Zee is more than willing to put Ellison to work, but Ellison is having a hard time letting go of his father's morality.moreless
