Up In The Air is a comedic mystery about a couple of low level employees at a radio station that help solve a murder. Frankie Ryan (Frankie Darro) is a page boy at a radio station in Hollywood. He and his best buddy Jeff Jefferson (Mantan Moreland), a porter at the station, have dreams of being a comedic duo themselves. When the reigning songstress Rita Wilson (Lorna Gray) is shot dead during an unexpected blackout during a recording session, the two aspiring jokesters put it upon themselves to solve the crime in lieu of the slightly dullard police. In a story laden with hilarious bits and hidden identity, Frankie and Jeff manage to not only find the perpetrator but to get their routine seen by the higher ups at the station. Howard Bretherton directs this charming and unique mystery that will have you in laughing fits and sitting on the edge of your seat.
