Urban Menace is a 1999 American film directed by Albert Pyun and Starring Snoop Dogg, Big Pun, Fat Joe, and Ice-T. The film was directed simultaneously with two other "urban" features, The Wrecking Crew and Corrupt, and as such is similar in feel and in tone. Snoop Dogg stars as Preacher Caleb, a mentally unstable preacher seeking revenge against a local crime syndicate for the death of his family members and the loss of his church, which was burnt to the ground. When the local thugs begin dying off one by one, confusion as to who the mysterious killer puts the town on edge. Big Pun and Fat Joe play the heads of the thugs, whom Preacher Caleb has a personal vendetta against. The film features explosions, special effects, minimal story, and lots of rap music. Written by Hannah Blue, Andrew Markell, and Tim Story, the film received some of the worst reviews of the year.
