2010
Rating:
PG-13
Vampires Suck is a 2010 comedy starring Jenn Proske, Matt Lanter, Ken Jeong, and Dave Foley in a send-up of teen vampire films, specifically the popular Twilight series. Proske plays Becca Crane, a pretty high schooler who has recently moved to the town of Sporks to live with her dim-witted father, Sheriff Frank (Diedrich Bader). As Becca adapts to the new city and her new school, she develops a deep attraction to a mysterious young man named Edward Sullen (Lanter), as well as a close relationship with childhood friend Jacob White (Christopher N. Riggi). When it becomes clear that both her handsome suitors are hiding a supernatural secret, Becca is forced to choose between the two. Vampires Suck is no-holds-barred spoof of all things vampire from the writing-directing team of Jason Friedberg and Adam Seltzer, the same team responsible for Date Movie, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, and Disaster Movie.
