Van Wilder: Freshman Year UNRATED is a 2009 comedy and the third film in National Lampoon's Van Wilder series about the party-loving king of Coolidge College and his adventures with women, friends, and the education system. This installment is a prequel to the previous two Van Wilder films. Before Van Wilder was the hugely popular super senior at Coolidge College, he was a confused freshman trying to find his place at a new school. The young troublemaker heads to Coolidge expecting to find the fun-loving party school his father attended, but instead he finds the school taken over by the ROTC who hold the school to strict military standards. Unwilling to waste his college experience on discipline and self-control, Van Wilder begins to shake things up, turning the stuck-up school into the glorious institution it once was. Van Wilder: Freshman Year UNRATED is a fun comedy, featuring all-new scenes that were too hot to show in theaters.
