Vengeance of the Dead takes place in the little town of Harvest, where college-aged Eric (Michael Galvin) is visiting his widowed grandfather in an old farm-house. The house holds fond memories of Eric's childhood. Reaching back into his own past, Eric stumbles upon another past that does not belong to him, that does not hold such happy memories. Harvest seems innocent enough. However, Eric finds that the town, and his grandfather's house especially, have a dark history of tragic events. Eric becomes entangled in the unfinished business of the house's former inhabitants: a young girl, Julia (Susan Karsnick) and her mother. As their stories are revealed, Eric and Julia develop an impossible attraction. The worlds of ghosts, memories and nightmares invade the present reality. Directed and written in 2001 by independent Wisconsin filmmakers Don Adams and Harry James Picardi, these 72 minutes of horror and suspense take us on a wild ride to discovering, as Eric does, the secrets of the dead in Harvest.moreless
