Vertical Limit is an action film that features the classic tale of man versus nature. Retired mountain climbing ace Peter Garrett (Chris O'Donnell) has ascended peaks from all corners of the globe. After his father Royce (Stuart Wilson) falls to his death on a climb, Garrett swears off mountain climbing for good. Naturally, he has no reason or interest in climbing Pakistan's 28,000 foot celebrated peak K-2 until disaster strikes. His estranged sister Annie (Robin Tunney) and the expedition she was leading gets stranded on the mountain due to a violent avalanche. Peter must now brave the elements, battle his own out-of-practice climbing skills and face his inner demons if he has any hopes of saving the lives of his sister and her team. Will Peter overcome the obstacles in his path and reunite his family? Watch this thrilling adventure film directed by Martin Campbell to find out.
