Visiting Hours is a 1982 suspensful horror movie starring Lee Grant as Deborah Ballin and Michael Ironside as Colt Hawker. When Colt, (Michael Ironside), was a child, he witnessed his mother throwing boiling oil on his abusive father. As a result, Colt developed a hatred for all things female. When Deborah Ballin, (Lee Grant), a T.V. journalist goes to bat for an abused woman who murdered her husband, Colt takes it personally and decides to seek revenge on Deborah. Colt attacks Deborah in her home and manages to severely injure her, but does not kill her as he intended. Deborah ends up in the hospital, but Colt is determined to finish the job. He dresses up as a florist and sets out to find Deborah in the hospital, killing anyone who gets in his way. Throughout the film, movie watchers are given an insight into Colt's thinking, but are still left on the edge of their seats in anticipation throughout the movie.
