Walk, Don't Run is a 1966 comedy film centering on English businessman Sir Walter Rutland (Cary Grant). He goes to Tokyo only to find there is a housing shortage due to the 1964 Summer Olympics. He goes to the British Embassy for help, where he notices an ad for an apartment. Walter decides to check out the apartment and meets Christine Easton (Samantha Egger), the apartment's owner. At first, Christine is hesitant in allowing Walter to stay with her, but eventually she agrees. To make extra money, Walter decides to rent out half of his half of the apartment to an American Olympian, Steve Davis (Jim Hutton). Walter realizes that Steve is a younger version of himself and the two instantly connect. Meanwhile, Steve sees that Christine and Walter would make a good couple, even though they have different personalities. Steve makes it his business to get Christine and Steve together. What follows next is a series of events that will have you laughing out loud.moreless
